You get the feeling that if he'd have joined us again instead of going to play one or two games for Man United's reserves then he might have kicked on a lot more than he has.

We had two good left sided players around that time, Joe Bryan and Andy Kellett. One has kicked on massively and may well be playing Premier League football next season, and the other is currently in a League Two relegation battle.

Kellet was good but Joe Bryan had that star quality & it was always pretty obvious he'd seemlessly go on to play at a higher level.

Can’t really blame him though, much better training facilities, coaches etc and once in a lifetime experience

We seem to be forgetting that Kellet is still technically a Wigan player, regardless of whom he is loaned out to. I'd say his future is still looking pretty bright yet...
