I'm sure we'll be able to afford his £70k a week wages.

I just found 70p down the back of the sofa, so that’s a start.

Pennmaster’s comment on main board 10th Jan hearing rumours of a midfielder being lined up ‘one that you would not expect to sign for us.’ Just playing along, it is a rumours board after all.

Hartlepool will take him. He may not need to move house! I know he picked up a big wage but I feel sorry for the guy's injury experiences.

Hartlepool will take him?

How excalty? They’re on the verge of going bust and you think they’ll take an ex championship player that will probably demand weekly wages well into 5 figures.

Currently the most ridiculous how about of this transfer window so far. I assume you'll stump up his 30/40 even 50k a week wages.

Since when does a player who is massively overpaid on a contract signed over three years ago and who’s stock has dropped massively get released from a contract with the expectation that he will sign to a new club on the exact same wages?

Anyhow, apparently he’s off to Celtic.
