I don't know if Ian or the admins are aware, but we're getting a load of fake news, clickbait advertising, usually seen on the worst of the worst trash news sites.

Over the last couple of days, there's been one of a supposedly beaten up Gordon Ramsey, and another offering thought and prayers to money-expert Martin Lewis (who in real life is absolutely fine)

I realise it's not your decision as to what ads come through, but it makes the site look like a joke fake news site

Probably best if you can screen shot it and send it to Ian.

I've not had any of that on Iphone or lap top.

All adverts must be non intrusive, i.e if you don't click on them, you won't read them.

If there are adverts that are popping it, following you etc. I NEED to know about them immediately with a screenshot.

I actually booked an Emirates holiday via an advert the other day, so that worked well.

Gaddy and I have control over what type of adverts we allow, we will not have 'adult' adverts for example, and as I have said we certainly will not allow intrusive adverts that pop up for follow.

If there are adverts that come up and offer you the world, suggest Elvis has died etc, I suggest people don't click on anything like that.

Hope that answers your question Mike.

Oh no, I have no intention on clicking on then. Just letting you know that they are floating about. Will screenshot next time I see one

I’ve seen the same ones as Quizmike (Gordon Ramsay, Martin Lewis clickbait). It struck me as odd to get them showing up on here.

I'm think that's a Trip Advisor 'trick', not ours.

I'm not sure if there has been a recent change but I am absolutely inundated with ads on this website now. There is one at the top covering one third of the screen, and now another covering up the bottom third.

The site is borderline unusable for me.

Daz has this trouble a few weeks ago and I can't remember what happened in the end. It was certainly nothing that changed this end.

I'll ask him.
