Tesco have gone out and purchased new shopping trollies, money that could well have saved a few local convenience stores.
It's not just football!
Agreed.
It's not the job of the larger clubs to rescue those who can't keep their finances in order.
Mahrez is paid what the market will bear. The market can bear it because the extent of football fans' outrage is a few phone calls to talksport and a couple hundred tweets. That will change nothing. What needs to happen is a complete diversion of money and attention. That means cancelling premium channels and supporting local football. Appealing to the good nature of an elite group and hoping for some kind of trickle-down football economy is frankly naive.
