He's been put in an induced coma after suffering a heart attack. Hope he pulls through.

Wilkins’ wife Jackie said: “He is not in a good state at all, I’m afraid. He’s critically ill.

“The cardiac arrest led to a fall which has meant he’s had to be put in an induced coma. It’s very, very bad.”

I saw Ray playing at HP in 1976-77 season. We lost 2-3. Ray played the way only Ray did (in those days). Rarely giving the ball away.

Apart from the result the day was marred by the Chelsea fans chasing us Argyle fans all over Central Park :cry:

Very sad news to hear the passing of Ray Wilkins today at the age of 61. An extremely popular guy within footballing circles and an outstanding midfielder for England.
