La Liga to Play Regular League Game in USA

New era dawning ? The top clubs have been pre seasoning it in the US to massive crowds for quite a while now. I dont follow it but, I think there's still regular season NFL games over here and Spurs new Stadium is set up to host them.

Globalisation of the game, money talks I guess.

However La Liga is (obviously) Hispanic so might attract Hispanic Americans? Whereas 'English' Americans might follow the MLS rather than paying to see Huddersfield play Wolves? :think:

The Americans don't follow 'soccer' in any meaningful way and it would be foolish to pretend otherwise. I imagine the Hispanic interest exists in the Mexican and other Central American diaspora.

I really think it would be a missed opportunity financially if we didn't do something in the states for 2020 Mayflower celebration

I'd definitely go and watch that. The US women's team is one of the best in the world.
