Congratulations to @JayStansfield1 on making his senior debut for @FulhamFC today. Since joining from Exeter City in August he has scored 21 goals in 12 U-18 appearances, scored on his U-23 debut & made his international bow for England. He turned 17 at the end of November. #ffc

He would have been about 8 when his Dad died. Must be some tough 'driven' kid. Well done to him. Hope he has a long and successful career as his Dad's was cut so short.

I'm well aware of the Colorectal Wards and have mentioned before how 'difficult' it is to be in hospital with patients who are a quarter, third, half my age and some of them don't make it.
