I note Klop, Bielsa and Robins all won the award for their clubs in their respective leagues. The League Two award went to David Artell of Crewe, the only award which did not go to the League Champion. Crewe had ALSO played an additional game to Swindon in that league. I appreciate there is no given rule that the award should go to the manager of that League's champions, but I wonder if the award to Artell can really be that justified, especially after his post match tantrums this past season at Home Park?

The LMA awards are voted for by the other managers in the league so Artell must have made a good enough impression on a majority of the League 2 managers to garner their votes.
