That would mean their last match ever would be against us.on March 7th.Feel desperately sorry for their fans.Met some real genuine fans at the game at Moss Rose..Some who were coming down to the Argyle match .The players were still trying right to the end.As usual it is the fans that suffer

Sad news and following Bury there could be more clubs going bust.

Meanwhile Sky are wetting their pants that Gareth Bale will join Spurs.

Really feel for the fans.

Owners never suffer in this scenario, and most of them have the ability to resolve it but would rather gamble it can be postponed.

The EFL are at fault for this too, yes they've washed their hands of it by forcing them out with the points deductions, but they are meant to regulate and advise. Its clear their tactic was to just punish and punish and force the club out of their focus.

Fingers crossed for a phoenix club who we may meet again in 10 years.

Sky have a product to sell so why wouldn't they?

Can't see them being the last this coming season... Lots of clubs are going to have a hard time of it, I'm afraid.

Sad to see Macclesfield go; they always had a vocal support come down to Home Park for their numbers.

Well as a consolation at least Macc fans can watch that product with it's industry led salaries instead. RIP Macclesfield Town.
