Given they're a club that "survives" with basically no crowd and are only where they are because their rich owner is playing football manager with the club I find this a bit ridiculous.

There are a few clubs who don't deserve to be where they are and Crawley are one of them.

Why should Leeds, or anyone else, give up their TV share to a club bankrolled by a millionaire who otherwise wouldn't be where they are?

Yes it's a a cheeky request but Crawley got where they are by winning promotions on the football field. No matter how much money you have, your team still has to do it on the pitch to be successful.

Couldn't bear the bloke when he played for the Chinos, but Tom Nicholls was superb.

It’s a different owner to the ones that bought promotion a decade back (and, if local rumours are true, basically used the club to wash drug money) but they are still bankrolled by a very rich man so it’s a daft request.
