Has anyone else noticed the amount of times Newcastle and the other top Championship clubs are live on Sky. Newcastle are well into double figures, thought it was supposed to be spread about all clubs, not just to benefit the more wealthy teams

Yes, we've all noticed it and it's one of our many bug-bears with the TV companies - even the BBC's Newcastle United Show on a saturday night.
It was the same with Leeds when they were in this division, and no doubt it'll be the same again when they're promoted.

And how many neutrals would want to watch a team like ours?

I was a bit upset that our first turn-around in over 2 years, away from home at play-off hopefuls Barnsley, just when everyone was writing us off, final score did not make more of an issue of it, instead they were getting excited about Donnie beating Forest.

ps Claridge is still a ****

Personally it's not the lack of Argyle that bothers me. I can catch extended highlights on the Beeb's website from monday, and there's now a local highlights programme.

But I do like a bit of variety, and all we seem to get is Newcastle this and Newcastle that. And when you factor in Steve Claridge's terrible punditry and the fans' emails there ain't a lot of time left for the other 71 clubs.

Well I guess that is what the TV guys go by.

The popularity to the arm chair "fan" because as we all know they want to make money through adverts etc.
