Shame it didn't work out for him. Probably the most idealistic manager in British football this side of Arsene Wenger.

:?: :?: :?:

If you can't succeed in the SLP, you will never be successful anywhere. Celtic have the worse side in years because of Mowbray, they have been tanked left, right and centre by some of the poorest clubs in one of the poorest top divison's in Europe.

Forgetting about (lack of) financial clout for a second, losing 4-0 to St Mirren is an unforgiveable result.

Idealistic in the sense of trying to play beautiful attacking football rather than successful football.

He does seem to want to create 'Barcelona' wherever he goes. Have to admire his principles but the way Arsenal & Barca play is built from getting hold of the players at a very young age and ingraining that philosophy in them right the way up through to the first team.

Ahhh so Mowbray was trying to recreate Barcelona at Celtic.....so why was one of his first signings at Celtic...Marc-Antoine Fortune? Got to be one of the worst strikers to ever grace the Premiership!

Wouldn't even make my top (or should that be bottom?) 50.
