Hi, I dont know if this has been mentioned before [sorry if it has] but does anybody know who got st james park first as their ground name

Newcastle's has been around longer so I assume that it is there's. Although unless Exeter change the name of their ground it will catch up soon enough as Newcastle are set to change the name of their ground as of next season.

Can anyone tell me why Exeter's ground is called St James Park and Newcastle's ground is called St James' Park?

Because Exeter is so scabby they couldn't afford that extra apostrophe.

I thought Newcastle's ground was called @sportsdirect or something like that.
