It has today been rumoured in the press today that Stoke City are to offer Spurs 11 million for Roman Pavulychenko, a lot of money for a club like Stoke.
Stokes ground capacity is about 28,400 and season tickets cost a maximum £600, if the total capacity bought a £600 season ticketthat would give the club 13.6million after vat deductions. I realise they get TV revenue and other add ons, but, is this yet another sign of a club living beyond their meansand on the slippery slope!

Presumably due to the TV money clubs in the Prem receive, they can afford this fee and the accompanying wages and still be spending money that is actually theirs. Won't leave much for other signings though.

and their are people posting on the main board that they would not be happy if the club go for the "cheap option" or don't show any "ambition", I'm sorry but fans have a part to say in the whole saga demanding success to be bought. Not all our fault, but fans should take some of the blame.
