I was just reading the article about Cardiff's winding up order on the BBC the following stood out to me.
These are two quotes from Cardiffs Chairman...
"And Dave Jones will now come forward with a list of other players he is looking to recruit to strengthen the playing squad"
"But we can't rule out another embargo, that is certainly a possibility."
What I can deduce from this is that rather than attempt the pay back debts which they know they owe (and will cause them problems) they propose to get into further debt by bringing in more players. Rather than attempt to get their finances in order they are going to add another massive chunk onto their wage bill. And so begins the process of screwing the taxman out of £100k's of PAYE once again. :twisted:
