Ben Foster has pulled out of the England squad through injury.

Replacements for him and Robinson are Scott Loach and Frank Fielding(Who??)

A goalie who hasn't played above League 2 it seems.

Does rather sum up the lack of trust or quality in the English goalies.

Mind you I do feel sorry for Green...been dumped just for one mistake (costly yes..) but others were rubbish too.

I understand the England team are in Watford..probably just picked Loach as he's young and the nearest!

Unbelievable.

Loach is 'sort of' acceptable; at least he is a CCC keeper but Fielding is nothing short of bizarre.

Lee Camp is a good CCC goalkeeper, Stockdale was a good CCC keeper (has he played in the Prem yet?).

Fielding is the under 21 goalkeeper so you can see why he has been called up. Joe Lewis was called up a few years ago too despite having the same experience as Fielding.

What would have been the point of calling up Kirkland or Green to sit on the bench? At least these two young potential future internationals are getting a taste of what it's like to be part of the England squad!
