Highly doubt that he will be the first manager to go. They have one of the best strikers in the league already aswell.

I agree he has previous bit i cannot believe James was signed over his head, Coppell is not the type of manager to allow players to be signed without his say so.

It's not about what you have got when you sign someone of James' stature. Signing players like him labels there ambition and opens doors for more high quality players.

If thats referring to Maynard, he's out until December and will probably be leaving in January. They have 7 or 8 of their first XI out injured, City fans think that Coppell pushed them too hard in pre-season causing a few of those injuries.

Looks like they might struggle for a bit, shame :lol:

Bristol City have appointed Keith Millen on a 3 year deal already.

A very odd decision indeed. He says he is retiring from football management - he found it very difficult to become passionate about the club.

Keith Millen, who took over with great effect at the tail end of last season from Gary Johnson, has taken the reigns on a 3 year deal.
