Conference South/North Relegation and Promotion?!?!?

This is the one thing i cant get my head around in football.

Say in the Confernce National the regalted teams were all Southern, that would mean the Conference South would have More teams then the North and the sub divisions would be uneven. Is That how it works? Or is it all reshuffled. It something that confuses me ha

Blue Square North or Blue Square South are reorganised to best accommodate the teams geographically, so a club could well find themselves in Blue Square North one season, and then in Blue Square South the following season. This happened to Worcester who were in BSN two seasons ago, then moved to BSS last season, and are now back in BSN.

I think Gloucester City were in Conference North last year,not sure if they've reverted to South this year.
