Watched all of the interview.. particularly concerning what he says about 7 mins in re. there are no buyers at the moment for lower division football clubs :/

Sounds very familiar, the only difference being they have someone that wants to take over the club without admin

Southend only recently paid off a tax bill to avoid a winding up petition going through,
there must be a lot of clubs having problems, maybe wage caps should come in to every league but would need to be international to properly work

So in a nutshell he is saying....Buy a club at a low price with a more than average fanbase for L2 get it to the championship on the dreams and aspirations of that fan base and sell at a top price to some mug for a great profit (as lets face it no-one but the fans believe they'll get to the premiership). Nice money if you can make it !

Now where did I recently see a similar business model ?
