Were the trusts "aims & objectives" discussed & voted upon, or is this the steering committees 1st draft?

The statement doesn't really have teeth does it? Link

"The Argyle Fans’ Trust exists to give all fans of Plymouth Argyle a chance to have a say in the running of their Club and to work with anyone who cares about Argyle to establish and maintain its sustainable future. Its aim is to have a real impact and influence on the operation of the Club."
If quizzes are quizzical, what are tests?

Well done to those involved yesterday for a very professional meeting. I didn't stick around to sign up after, but I've just posted off my membership form along with a donation. I've also convinced the wife that she would like to be a member too :)

As previously mentioned, it would be good to get the application form online ASAP. I can start encouraging a few exiles to get signed up then.

I believe it's £10 per year. Under 16s are free. I don't know how old your kids are. :) :)

You had to be there! The Rev read out the cost and details only for someone to stand up and ask 30 secs later.

There were application forms handed out at the meeting yesterday, which detailed where to send the membership fee. It was stated at the meeting that this will be posted on the website shortly.

As for the "Trust Friend" banner, this doesn't actually relate to the AFT. It was given to people who donated to Plymouth Argyle Youth and Development Trust previously.

Cool, I'm in Oman so will need the website to pay by card, thanks for the info on the banner.

Thanks to everyone who turned out yesterday. It was a FANtastic response, but as we all know, it's only a start. There is a lot of hard work to do still to save our Club. Getting people through those turnstiles is a must - whatever the results on the pitch for now we must concentrate on the extra revenue that this will engender - otherwise we are finished.

We need a bit of a rest today but we'll get the membership form up on the site asap. When it is, please feel free to download and copy and pass on to whomever is interested in the future of Argyle.

I'll also try to do the minutes and the minutes of the meeting with Ridsdale and Stapleton tomorrow.

As Mr Rapson said, there is some great merchandising (thanks Leigh) and we'll get details of that on the site too.

And the details about the election procedures. And next meeting. And, and, and...

Good coverage in today's Indy taking up the front page and another page inside.

Not quite the message that was going out on the day though:-

"Fans rally to rescue Argyle"

"A fan based answer to the club's cash problems"

It then says that fans pledged their £10 a year membership as if that was going to be the answer to the current cash problems at the club.

Still all publicity is good publicity at this stage.
Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana.

Have you got a link Chris?

As far as I am aware, they weren't there. I got phoned up later - before the match - and talked to the journo at some length. But I certainly didn't say that. I was very careful what I said.
