Seems a strange start, the most important thing is to get agreement on what the trust is all about, not just rubber stamp a load of waffle.

Inspirational. Not.

There was the time to ask questions/make suggestions regarding the aims and objectives and they were voted on by all present.

Doesn't say so in the minutes?
If quizzes are quizzical, what are tests?

Doesn't say so in the minutes?

On a show of hands the Model Rules, aims and objectives and principles and practices were unanimously adopted.

And the questions bit under section 5. a) was where questions could be asked for example the question about equality.

So you're saying the Questions related to both aims & objectives as well as Principles & Practices?

It reads to me like its all about Principles & Practices.

5. a) Adoption of Principles and Practices (constitution)

The statement of the Trust’s aims and objectives were read out.

The Model Rules drawn up by Supporters Direct had to be signed off before the Trust could be registered with the FSA and were non-negotiable.

The statement of Principles and Practices were summarised and read out.

QUESTIONS:

The clubs potentially going out of business and the first question is about equality & anti discrimination?

I despair

I was there and trust me when I say a lot of us did despair at that.
I think he's a decent chap.
It's times like this when a chap needs to be decent.

5. C Elections:

Due process is important. There is a requirement for a 56-day election procedure. It has been agreed that the final whistle on the last day of the season (7th May) will mark the start of the Trust Board election period which will end on 2nd July.

QUESTIONS:

Q: As a contingency, if the Club went into liquidation and quick action were needed would the election process be brought forward?

A: No. A new Club might mean a more measured approach would be necessary so the timetable would stand. The interim steering committee is acting as the Trust Board meanwhile. The important thing is to get as many members as possible so as to have maximum influence on the operation of the organisation.

No hurry to do anything really is there...

Least of all join up really, may as well save £10 till the summer eh...

Never mind if some unscrupulous people were going to buy HP from under our noses, procedures must be followed, what what
