The problem is that if we are liquidated next week there will be no chance.
Only by going into voluntary administration beforehand would there be a chance for the ground to be purchased at a knock down price, and PCC have ruled out having anything to do with it.

Dennis, that could happen within minutes.

One phone call, in ten minutes time or two days time, would mean we're in admin.

It's as quick as that.

And in doing so, they have given the HMRC more ammunition. "No prospect of a sale of the property asset, m'lud, as it's worthless without a football tenant..."

Tragic..

Don't agree with that.

PCC many years ago decided that there was not be no taxi rank down by the bottom of Derry's, what did the taxi drivers do, they drove around and around the rounabout, causing mayhem.

The highways committee cacked themselves and backed right down.

If we had enough Janners who would be public disobedient, we'd have them on their knees within no time, problem is, talk is easy, and that's all it seems to be.

On Saturday, I had a plan, it was leaked to PAFC and they took counter measures, but it was a plan and it showed that it can cause disruption.

I'm up for anything which saves our club, but I fear that the average apathetic Janners hasn't the testicles for such a thing.

Direct action is what it's all about, but peope are more interested in signing petitions etc.

Hurt them with action, lots of it, the sort of stuff that carries negative images to the populace of Plymouth and beyond, but I'm buggered if I'd be one of five (and that's pushing it) being nicked by a hairy arsed copper.

Screw petitions, now is the time for every member of the green army to stand up and be counted.

We petitioned against the sell off of Citybus and it got nowhere. We need to make our voices heard and make pcc realise that we don't want our club or indeed our city to die.

Ian you inspired me to this, listening to you on saturday made me realise that printing a few tshirts is not enough.

I have emailed the Herald to see if they would lend their support to our cause. Have also emailed Mr Ridsdale to see if the club can help with it.

I'm sick to death of our city going to sh1t because of Viv Pengelley and her cronies. No more, is what i say......

So, who will stand up and be counted?

They would say that now wouldn't they, if I was going to buy it I wouldn't show my hand at this stage, I would wait until the club went into Administration then get it a knock down price.
I feel we should be protesting against the board for not letting us go into Administration, the way I see it and I may well be wrong but they are holding out to try and get the best deal for themselves, sorry if this has been covered but I've been away and missed it all(well actually I'm lying I haven't missed it at all :) )
7 scumbags down and only 1 to go before we get our Argyle back!

Well done mate. Details will be coming out soon.

I have made good headway with media contacts and prelimanry discussions with the trust seem to have garnered some interest.

This is going to happen we just need to sort out the when. It will only work if we have numbers though, the more people behind it the better.

could you drop me a pm with your email addy and i will build a database to let people who are interested know what is happening.

Where was it that some pensioners caused mayhem protesting about traffic. All they did was keep pressing the button on a pedestrian crossing.
A303 or somewhere wasn't it! Needs a bit of thinking out of the box. Something that won't pea off the rest of the citizens of Plymouth but would annoy the hell out of the council would be a good start.

Keep chucking how much Tinside costs the people of Plymouth in subsidies every year and the fact it was the Tories who completely ignored the recommendations of the Tinside Citizens Jury because they thought it would be a vote winner,in their faces.

I still think a campaign to get Argyle fans to vote against any councillor (of any party) who isn't sympathetic to Argyle's cause is an option as well.

I seem to remember reports on TV about protests outside the Civic Centre about closure of old biddies homes - that was BEFORE the council vote. Didnt make any difference.

Also, demonstartions at the Civic Centre from the Dockyard unions. Didnt make any difference.

Good luck, but can never see this making any difference especially as the vote has already taken place.

If you speak to Tudor ask him why he sold Home Park in the first place.
