I would say that's been a problem ever since the start of the NWO reign ... people are swayed by such things and all the court tittle tattle. Now they've all tripped and tumbled out into the fresh sea air, it's all a bit late... many fans have been smelling our goose being well and truly cooked for some time and are long gone.
Still, if we're lucky, we might just get a Supporters' Trust owned club out of all this one day. The trouble is the new darling of the grandstand bars, Peter Ridsdale, needs barging out of the way first.

pp, please please please translate your first paragraph into plain English. At the moment Im not sure if I agree or disagree :)

You're clearly winning that protest. Well done that man.

We can't abandon the protest or let it stall because a handful of people are in the marquee, they will have to catch up later, or next time.
Lets not get bogged down into reasons for not doing this.
2pm it is then?

What's up Tony, don't you understand Cornish ? :)

Originally, you were one of the few fellow vociferous detractors of Kagami et al. But after your co-opting into the dinning borg at Argyle Towers last season, you changed, went quiet and seemed to come to an accomodation with the whole NWO project... do you follow me ? It's all a bit like Odysseus on his way home from the wars being way laid and intoxicated by Calypso ... all very muggy and nice ... but something isn't right.
I trust that's a bit clearer.

I clearly have some trouble when you translate Cornish into English :)

Now, you are quite right in saying I was in the fore front of the warning that I felt Kagami was in to Argyle for the wrong reasons and not those stated. I believed then and still do that with him it was a property deal first second and third.

I said this and got about as much grief from the many as I now do with the Trust (bu*ger, I promised myself I wouldnt mention it today.).

The first time I ever went into the Pyramid was for my birthday in 2009, paid for by my wife. Until the Colchester game I would not have set foot in there since.

I am not a Business Lounge member, this season, I have been in there once, v Swindon.

I buy my own season ticket and sit in the Grandstand as some fellow posters will verify.

This season I have not been so vociferous towards Kagami, probably because I have felt equally evil towards the other Board members. I went quiet for about as long as you did. Yours was after a spat with Ponty, mine was because I felt worn down by Pasoti, probably a bit like IJN now.

So, "dining borg", "Argyle Towers" are way off beam, I do not belong to any clique unless its "Im a fan of Plymouth Argyle".

I will continue to oppose both the Directors ( all of them) and others who I believe not to be doing things in the best interests of Plymouth Argyle.

There, I hope that clears up any misunderstanding you have harboured. Always best to have verifyable facts rather than gossip and innuendo.

Iggy, I'm not saying you should abandon the march far from it.What I am saying is that with all these events taking place, you are bound to have clashes and this will be the case on this day....if you are in the pyramid suite being wined, dined and entertained, and yes I know full well you guys are paying for it,its very difficult to suddenly up sticks and walk out at 2pm, as well as being disrespectful to the event organisers. As for the march I will be taking part.2pm it is.

It could be two-fold.
As well as a protest march, the lap around the stadium should also be about celebrating Argyle.
Celebrate Argyle in the "lap of honour" with the protest taking place in the top car park.
The "lap of honour" should be aimed at the staff, players and Reid and then the focus changed when we reach the top car park where the Directors are the target.

Flags and banners need to be used but please no jester hats. :)

I can see why they wouldn't want to walk out, I'm just saying we should carry on, if they don't catch this one then maybe the next one.

I think the celebrating Argyle could be done by supporting the players in the game. Johnny Vaughn levelled some very good criticism at the last protest that there wasn't a clear focal point for the protest, although we may have known what is was about, others didn't. I propose that the focal point should be players or football not property, (which has got us into this mess).

Iggy, hate to say it, but you need an Ian or Sean or someone similar to arrange it otherwise it will be a fiasco :)

You needa clear objective, start time, and route and what your end goal is. In the meantime you need someone to liase with protesters and someone/same person to liase with media to get it the publicity you need.

Best of luck

By the time Odysseus realises his error, it's almost too late, and after escaping her clutches, eventually gets home to find his loyal wife and land almost despoiled by ne'er do well suitors.
...

Hmm.

Calypso (Roughly translates as 'to conceal'. Nice one pp, I like it.) eventually lets Odysseus go home after intervention by Hermes, no? Now, this Hermes fellow sounds a bit familiar:

God of public speakers and orators, of the cunning of thieves, of commerce, and of sports.
Described in Homer as "a bringer of dreams" but also as a "thief at the gates".
Helper of injured and failing competitors.

...no forget it, I can't think why he seems familiar.

Need someone to hold your hand do you?
I am putting the objective up for discussion (property not players),2pm is the start time, the route is outside HP :? end goal is letting the board know we are not happy, the media read this and do you know what? I am able to send e-mail or make a phone call. If you would rather munch on prawn sarnies or just sit there saying why this won't happen, then jog on mate, I don't think you would be a lot of help anyway.
