It might be coincidence. The interview was done early on Wednesday Japan time (GMT+9).

Said all along it won't be here till the very last minute - from Kagami's point of veiw, like most companies only pay when you have to!! Having said all that, I don't actually believe it will come!!
Back and all angelic!! Hahahahahah!!

I'm not sure how I feel about money from Japan any more. If it comes then it saves us for the time being. If it doesn't then the current shower have to put us into administration and disappear into the ether so we can start again.

Don't they? :?

Don't overlook this part though.

Even better, Mr Synan told us: "We are all confident we will avoid liquidation", that he will be flying to the UK to be in Plymouth by Monday to work with financial consultant Peter Ridsdale, and that "We are doing everything we can" to avoid administration.

If this is true this could save you guys the airfare. Hijack him at Home Park and let him know exactly what we think of him and Kagami.

While its good that the silence from Japan has finally been broken the statement from Synan is a bit wishy-washy and vague.

He doesn't say how much will be paid into the club tomorrow or Monday and he doesn't commit to further funds.

"We are confident we will avoid liquidation" and asked about administration he said "It's not on the agenda right now".

He also said the money didn't need to be in Plymouth until Monday anyway.

PAFC holds its breath!

Have the paper in fornt of me and another significant part of the story:

The final £271,000 was paid to HMRC yesterday, meaning the Pilgrims are a step closer to shaking off a transfer embargo imposed by the Football League

Embargo should be lifted when wages are up to date...

Seems strange to embed what on the face of it appears a very positive piece of news.

Synan and Kagami were World Cup speculators, the money will not come and neither will Synan.

I think they know they have done their money and this is the only way they can get any satisfaction at all by seeing the people who got them into this with the begging bowl out.

I posted last night that i am desperate for their money to come, i still am but i don't think it will.

What a mess.
The 2011-2012 season was the end for me.

Charlie Wood wrote: There's one party to this sorry saga that seem to have received no attention whatsoever, the club's bankers. Who are they? What was the overdraft limit? Was it reduced because of the economy or relegation? Is the club's overdraft at a level the bank can still live with? Will they require some portion of incoming funds to reduce their debt?

The reason I ask these questions is due to the fact that the Coop Bank seemed to play a major part in the saving of Sheffield Wednesday.

Anybody know any answers?

One party? Given the reported £9M of debt you would think there would be plenty of noise from creditors. The VATman and £0.5M for the pitch are only major debts in public domain. This makes me think the figure covers the ground mortgage and loans from the Directors.

Though didn't the WC bid only come about when Todd and Gardner came on board (a year after Kaiagmi and Synan)... or have I got my dates mixed up?

Yep, we're a bit scuppered now for the minute.

All three of us were talking last night, we got the return flight prices of £998.00 and had the itinerary all set up.

We were going to book today, flight out in Saturday, now we find the seats are up to £2,500 and return (ouch) and Georgey Boy is now coming across on Monday!

So, the trips off for now, we've lost the PR initiative on this one and that's for sure, I'm sure the Japanese knew what we doing though.

As I've been told it, the money (£1m) will come into the bank on Saturday 5th, and will clear to PAFC on the Monday.

We'll have to wait and see.

However, methinks Tokyo. Mt Fuji and Osaka are now as far away as they ever were.

Barclays are the club's Bankers. The last known overdraft from the accounts was £600,000. I suspect the club reached that limit of credit long ago. Bank accounts are normally only frozen in association with winding up orders and we don't have another one yet.

I can't imagine Barclays with their high profile sponsorship of the Premiership wanting to be associated with the largest ever Football League club to fail. I imagine their account manager is in banking parlance being friendly but firm!.

It was Todd that picked up the running on the World Cup bid in July 2009 after Kagami was on board.

Six weeks after Suroy and Todd joined the board the WC bid was announced.
