The case is still listed but what happens is that the creditor (HMRC) contacts the court in advance withdrawing it and then the judge does this officially on the day (obviously this is not written in legal speak - just my version of how it happens).

Correct. It will be dismissed by the judge on HMRC's request. Just posted it to clear up any confusion at the beginning of the thread caused by media reports that the hearing had been cancelled!
