George Synan has had little input in recent weeks and is believed to be at his family home in Osaka. Tokyo-based Yasuaki Kagami, Argyle's single largest shareholder, has still never seen the club play.

He did, however, speak with Mr Ridsdale on Monday, who said the Japanese businessman suggested money would be sent to Home Park later this week

Too late now, we're in admin (well we're not but we are).

Stick it up your jacksy, we don't want it now.

By the way, we don't believe you.

Confused. How does this reconcile with the rumour of the 6 Directors being history ? It suggests Kagami is at least talking as though he has a role to play ....?

Hmm, would be bloody helpful if there was less talk and more action, they couldn't care less :x

Maybe, just maybe, the agitation in Japan has led to Okudera having a word and shaming Kagami into fulfilling his commitments. Perhaps he feels, at last, sending the money would be the honourable thing to do - even if it is too late.
If that is the motivation, any injection of cash should be used to reduce debt - staff pay, local suppliers, pitch company - rather than line the pockets of the malignant 7. That would be the honourable thing to do.
Of course, any reduction in debt would reduce the amount any new owner would have to stump up to clear standing debt and leave them with more cashflow for day-to-day running.
They say the last thing you lose is hope and, hopefully, Ridsdale's conversation with Synan on Monday will have informed them that the others (all, local or just Toad and Suroy) have agreed to walk away letting Kagami save face and, belatedly, fulfil his promises.

I hope & pray we have, at last, hit rock bottom and we can begin a long journey back to respectability.

If Kagami & Synan weren't willing to put money in while there was still a remote chance of saving Argyle from administration (and therefore some remote prospect of a return on the investment at a future date) do we really believe that he's going to send money now that it's almost certain he'll have zero return on it? Give me a break...

The thing I can't comprehend is why they keep making promises. If you can't/won't provide any more money, just bloody say so!!

Surely even in Japan business comes before honour? Ploughing cash into Argyle at the moment would be insanity - honour or no honour.
