Don't believe the self-deprecating comments from the Affinity source.

I believe that they are in with a very strong chance of getting exclusivity...and that is a serious worry.

£13 million is a lot of money...if that is a serious bid...then Toddy has got to be a frontrunner...I'm not a Toddy fan,in fact completely the opposite..but if he wins he wins...

I cannot believe after being part of the seven that got us into this mess they can even be allowed to contemplate making a bid, this is a complete joke!!

If football considers itself a business then it has to accept that former directors reappear like this all the time in the real world.

If they come up with the best offer I'm not sure how the administrator can 'prefer' another bidder because he favours the people making it.

Can/would they be allowed to buy the club after putting it in the mire. I hope to God they do not,but as has been mentioned on here,if no one else offers more, then the :hitfan: .
Criticism may not be agreeable, but it is necessary. It fulfils the same function as pain in the human body. It calls attention to an unhealthy state of things.

Don't know if this has already been brought up, can't really be bothered to proof read the whole thread though. But, now that we know at least one bid has been made, will the administrator accept this if none other are made or will he still choose to reject it in hopes of getting a better offer. Assuming that he would have not a lot of choice but to accept it, then surely this is good news as at least our immediate future will be secure for the mean time. Rather that than liquidation.

Do you think that Todd and Gardner are possibly the good guys in all this? They came up with the WC plan. Todd then came up with the alternative redevelopment plan. They invested funds through Mastpoint. They tried to clear the clubs debts by creating HPPL and buying HP to clear the clubs debts. Did they fall out with Kagami because he had not invested anything? Did they fall out with the old board because they would not invest anything either, and were holding out for their inflated share price? Kagami would only sell if he got his share money back.

Todd was shafted once the WC bid fell through and the winding up orders came in, but was this a coup by Stapes to get rid of them and try and get someone else to pay him over the odds for his shares?

If we had got the WC the money would be flooding in by now and no one would be talking about Todd's mismanagement. Despite his hair brained schemes at least he had some vision....unlike Lord Derriford.

Is he now after full control of the club for a fraction of the price that Stapes was offering or that Kagami needed to get his money back?

Personally I think they are all equally to blame and I don't want to see any of them back at Argyle. But I also think there are a lot of stories still to be told, and there might well be some surprises.

Sorry if you seriously think they are the good guys in this you need to up your meds.
