Sign this ultimatum or go (so some have).

The staff have had a meeting today, and they have been given an ultimatum.

Either sign a form, which in effect means they won't be paid until the end of April or go now!!

Suffice to say, some have left.

I hope the Malignant Seven are really proud today.

I hear rumours that some have been manking about how much they've lost and how they've got the sell their second homes ect.

How about the people that can't afford to put petrol in their tanks or feed their kids then? How does that compare??

Absolute to$$ers, the lot of you!!

Odd move.

What's the 'upside' to signing then?

I would advise them all to go. Enough is enough.

Deactivated

So unless Brenda is being paid from Thursday onwards he will shut the club down and walk away, and he earns how much? But then ordinary people probably on the minimum wage or thereabouts are meant to work 6 weeks for nowt? Very 'kin thoughtful Brenda.
I feel another demo coming on
I must be phsycic.

I guess keeping your job in the hope that things will get back to normal next month, against going down the Job Centre ... :(

That is very sad indeed. I hope the money we've raised means some staff members can hold on until April, and stick with the club. We need them!

Bit galling when BG is hanging out for his £350/hour or whatever

As far as the malignant seven was concerned reducing staff levels after relegation and letting them leave with a bit of dignity and a decent redundancy package was another head in the sand decision they decided not to take...in all probability because they'd have to fight amongst themselves to fund it

Complete idiots the lot of them

Yes, the last time the staff gave loyalty to the club by staying when they weren't being paid 16 staff got made redundant

That's how much the current regime value your 'loyalty'

They may get paid by the new 'owner' at the end of April. :?

Good eh?

Meanwhile, how the hell are they meant to live?

Iggy, I think your rant is aimed at the person/people.

Brendan is just doing his job.. Something the Silent 7 failed to do.

I fail to see how any of the M7 can blame anyone but themselves for the financial meltdown at PAFC.

They were running the club when the club were spending beyond it's means. So if they are having to sell property then, it's been brought on by their incompetence and they only have themselves to blame.

Responsibility for this falls squarely at their respective doorsteps.

It is his job, if he always worked for free then he wouldn't be able to earn a living. We are not an exception, we are just another failed business.

Very sad to hear that more staff will be leaving. I would like to thank them for all their hard work. :nworthy:
