Sue Pollard wrote: The response that we had from the fans was absolutely amazing :appl:  :appl: The, £5, £10 and £20 notes were flying into the buckets ... along with a LOT of £1 coins and change. Even managed to get Ridders to put some money in, at the Trust meeting (£20) :)
Thank you to all that donated today :D :D :D :D brilliant, result :huddle:

I'd just like to reiterate what Sue has said - it amazed me that people were so generous. I even had pensioners throwing in £10 & £20 notes. Some of the comments about the staff were great too. Well done to everyone who gave.
Can we publish the final total GTs?

We will publish the exact total next week when we have counted it all up exactly as we are going to be spending a few days bagging all the money up, as soon as we have exact total we will add on here.

By any standards Sue you and your team have done a most fantastic job in collecting such an incredible sum. Your ambush of Ridders at the end of the Trust meeting deserved a wider audience. Well done.

A fantastic effort.

With so many notes in the bucket you couldn't put coins in!

I also find it amazing, when times are tight for all of us, that so many can give so generously. It is not only Argyle fans, but others who are giving so much. When I placed my donation in the bucket and the Lower Guildhall and before the game yesterday, I was also most surprised to see amount of notes there!

Long may it continue.
