The more info I find on James Brent the more I think he would be ideal as the new owner of Argyle. Stay in the hunt James... it'll be worth it!

But this is Argyle. We have to do things the difficult way!

Does anybody have any news? Last I heard was an announcement on Spotlight on Wednesday evening that an agreement "in principle" had been reached but since then it's gone quiet. Anybody know if this is true, or did the BBC get it wrong.

The preferred bidders are working on a new world cup bid by moving Argyle to Russia.

Don't recall him saying that Cleaner - mind you I have been at work all day.
Do you have a link?

View the piece about us on Sky. There is a thread on here with a link. I am fairly certain he says about the investors then.

This small piece in the Graudian says nothing we didn't know but does hint at the problems with Mastpoint & ends on rather a negative as far as Argyle are concerned if the matter can't be resolved.

Ridsdale has said that the 2 bidders have 'history' with Argyle :!:

The way that he says "the people we are talking to" may not be the bidders he is talking about, if he means mastpoint in relation to the "trying to iron out" bit they would have history with Argyle as in toad & suroy
