In touch with a couple of BBC contacts. Who have both spoken to PR and BG. Apparently nothing to worry about. Just a legal hang over from the last case. Issue relates to the Football Creditors' rule and is between HMRC and FL. Club aware and not sending anyone. 'Don't panic' was the phrase.

May risk the bus fare anyway - could be something and nothing but you never know with the Revenue.

Well done PL2 3DQ for picking this up, I was worried when I first read this thread, calmer now after Celia's good work obtaining a reply from media friends concerning their contact with PR & BG, if THEY are not worried then just 'maybe' its not too serious. However time will tell, its sensible if someone can go to this Court to keep an eye on things though and report back for us, thank you to anyone who will do that.

Surely Mr Cleaner it might have been useful to let us know rather than come at the end of a thread to say it was mentioned y/day, this Court case could have had the potential to be very damaging just prior to the meeting on Friday?

Just setting off now. Although the listings begin at 1030, Argyle are not the first case on so don't worry if you don't hear anything right away. HMRC v FL is - which could be interesting in itself. Will post asap when there is anything to say.

We're not sending a lawyer, its probably just HMRC trying its luck again and in all likelyness the court will see through it as they did last time.
