this would tie in with the 12 month buy back clause, I wonder if they are talking to the football powers about it. Is there any way the fa would allow it, truro to become part of argyle so to speak ?

no way would turos fans and players want that to happen, it wont.

What football fans want means nothing nowadays. Look at Milton Keynes or the numerous clubs having their stadiums taken from underneath them.

Thing that strikes me is that for "mystery" bidders they (or a representative) certainly seems to have spoken to several people (Riddler, Guilfoyle, Plymouth Council, Rose Project Services and Heaney as a minimum)

But, we are expected to believe that still no-one knows who they are. :?

I struggle to believe that reputable businesses and people would deal solely with a representative and not seek some kind of guarantee as to the composition of the "mystery consortium", at the very least a confirmation of their funding position. Otherwise they could be dealing with anyone.

Of course, a cynic might say that the web of intrigue covers something, I couldn't possibly comment!

Spin and more spin - the start of the Ridsdale years.

Don't let Heaney anywhere near Pafc he is trouble, yes he has put money into Truro but has upset a lot of the locals on the way.

Unfortunately, we as ordinary fans, have as always bugger-all say in the matter. :(

Peter Ryan asked Peter Ridsdale at the meeting the other day, whether Heaney had anything to do with the Irish, his exact answer was 'To my knowledge, no'.

To be honest I wouldn't be surprised to hear Osama Bin Laden, Dominique Strauss-Kahn or Cheryl Cole mentioned as possible buyers before we finally get to the bottom of all this.

Osama Bin Laden would surprise me a bit. Only a bit though.

Heaney and Ridsdale would be well suited - they've both had companies liquidated in the last 12 months. :)

Have another look - you'll find they're flying pigs, and another appears every time anyone involved in this whole sad, sorry affair opens their mouth!

Not strictly true, we can vote with our feet if we need to. If it came to it i'd rather keep the histories and traditions of PAFC pure and transfer them to a new PAFC rather than be shoe-horned into a b*stardisation with another club.

I just hope the PCC stands firm to the AAP and the covenant, the PB will pull out and with luck the back stop can pull of a last ditched catch before we lose our league status.
