Staff wage deferrals (Confirmed)

Just found out that the staff have today had to sign yet another wage deferral for June, agreeing to take only 30% of their earnings for this month.

It's bloody disgusting. Just when we thought we may be turning a corner. Is the PB putting ANY cash into the club at all?!

I moved this to Rumours, but wasn't happy doing that, so I rang the club.

A senior person told me that this IS true. :(

That same person reminded me, that it's the M7 who are to blame for this, not Brenda, not Riddler nor the PB. It's a good point.

By the way, 'staff' means players as well.

Another joke, really angry at this and so sorry for the staff

it's a technicality now IMO. If the PB is serious it should be one of the first things to address

Will this continue to happen for as long as we are in administration? Various sources suggest we could happily do this for the entire of next season. If people are only getting paid 30% of their wages I do not see how it is viable to do so.

Also further proof that we are in no position to sign any players or be ready for next season.

Here's a horrible thought - Swindon Town or Swindon Supermarine next season?

Isn't the next milestone payment due from the PB?

If the club doesn't think this is likely to be forthcoming, what does this say ... ?

Mr Guilfoyle, are you keeping an eye on this while at the FL meeting in Cyprus?

Well if it were to be the case I would foresee a lot of staff members throwing in the towel. Quite rightly so as well. Without them we certainly won't be able to operate, administration or not.

Your correct, its not about the club for them now, its gone to far and they have done all they can, I can blame a single one of them if thats it for them.

For those that are attending PR's live Q&A on Friday, note the number of times he says 'Of course, we can run into Admin for the whole season if we have to' or variations of that phrase.

More indication that this is Risdales aim, he wants to run the club in administration and maybe thats rubbing off on Brendan.
