so out of brent, buttivant and heaney i wonder who has watched argyle the most times and has the best knowledge of local football because i would say on that criteria heaney beats the other two hands down, while the whole process has been handled badly can you blame him for wanting to stay annoyonmous if this forum is anything to go by plus he still has to protect his interest in truro until he finds a buyer, one other plus point is that he intends to keep peter ridsdale who we all know is very media freindly and passionate about football and depending on your veiwpoint has been involved in some of the most successful periods in leeds and cardiffs history so if heaney's intention was to run the club to the ground then surely he would appoint a yes man with no football experience.

Yep, you're right it was not newsworthy at all. I wish I hadn't posted it now.

I don't care if its news or not...although to tell the truth I think it is.....because it's given the best laugh for a long time....if only there was a film of Heaney at the moment he'd been caught out...heck it's even perfect that he had the plans for the ground laid out....and priceless that IJN was listening in whilst pretending to waiver over the decision of whether to choose a croissant or a pain au raisin

I did Doctor..........

It is pretty much the only decent hotel in Plymouth for this kind of meeting - I have used it on many occasions for strike meetings etc (work related).

There's an assumption that if Heaney is one of the property developers that he would have to sell Truro. If can get away with not selling Truro and still own property at Home Park, who is to say that he won't hold on to Truro and use income from property development at Home Park to fund Truro?

It appears the good folk of PASOTI are having a collective nervous breakdown today.

A 23 page thread dedicated to an idividual many suspected already was playing a key role in the "Irish" PB Consortium.

Excuse my ignorance but whats actually changed?

Nothing in my view.. If they are serious players the "Irish" will pay the next milestone payment on Tuesday. BG will release a statement to that fact and the Riddler will be schmoozing us with more silver tongued retoric.

The Status Quo remains folks lets get used to it.
Pay him up and thank him JB.. Mr Reid will always be an Argyle Legend.

In a way I agree. I understand the survival of the football club isn't in BG's best interests but I wish he would just get on with this whole process and select Brent/Buttivant instead of these muppets messing us around

Why would any '"Irish" Consortium involve Heaney as an 'advisor'?

He is a failed housebuilder, not a property guru. He is looking for work and massaging his own ego.

I think you will find that whatever Masterplan may have been concocted some time ago, and in my opinion it was conjured up long before the Administrator was appointed, it may all be derailed should Mr Ridsdale be convicted and sent to jail!

My guess is the next payment will be missed in the hope that all the other opportunists become less interested with the passage of time and the associated increase in the amount owing to football creditors. The PB will then make a ridiculous low ball offer to these creditors as the only remaining option to avoid liquidation.

Just what I think; may be hopelessly wrong.

Oh, and I have still to see a decent explanation for Heaney's decision to set up a company if he is merely an advisor.

Am I the only one who sees todays Holiday Inn "revelations" as a non news story!

Other then to send Pasoti/GTs/Trust into a collective nevous breakdown absolutely nothing has changed.

Mr Heaney as many of us already suspected is involved with the "Property" side of the deal and the Riddler has picked up the "Football" side of Argyle for a quid.

If they the "Irish" are serious players they will make the next milestone payment on Tuesday, the Riddler will schmooze (Bullsh*t) us even further with his silver tongued retoric and BG will in vain yet again make an "attempt" to gain the identities of the "Irish".

As much as I admire the collective efforts of others, I fear come Tuesday if the next milestone payment is made the proposed summit meeting will be to late in the process to make the sort of impact being advocated.
Pay him up and thank him JB.. Mr Reid will always be an Argyle Legend.

The main point of today's revelation is not that Heaney is involved, but absolute proof that Messrs Guilfoyle and Ridsdale have been lying to us all throughout this process.
