Well, I'm glad everything is sweetness and light now. Things were getting a bit tense what with all the confusion and uncertainty of late.
"C'mon the peagreens", as my mother used to say.

I have long since stopped believing anything that any of the participants in this sorry affair have to say. It is very difficult to have any pride in anything that is associated with the club other than the loyal workers and the fans who have helped pay their wages.

Ridsdale said it was all signed and it only needed him to sign it.

BG said that the "letter" or whatever piece of paper it is is being sent to Bishop International for the signature

:? :?
I for one, believe BG.

By the way, where is the statement??????? did he make it only to you?

On Club website now.

The sale contract surely needs to be only signed by BG and such directors of Bishop International Ltd as their Memorandum and Articles of Association state. As far as PR is concerned his only involvement should relate to his leasehold interest of the ground which he is apparently acquiring for £1 from B.I.L. This is normally dated a day later than the sale contract for Bishop International's acquisition of the freehold interest.

When this happens, OK, we can embrace progress, but somehow I feel like somebody who has lost an umbrella but found a golfing brolly and do not know quite what to make of it all.
I just hope PR can muster sufficient credibility in the wider business world to make his peppercorn related acquisition work. I just wonder?

So what does "as close to the start of the new season as possible" mean? It doesnt make sense to me - why not "as soon as possible". Unless he means it will be as soon AFTER the start of the new season as possible? Surely not...

They were obviously just waiting to confirm that they've won the euromillions jackpot. Coincidence? I think not.

Edited to add:
Just seen that it's another rollover. Guess we'll have to wait at least another week then.......

Message to Guilfoyle: make an announcement when it has, until then, shut up.

So essentially Brenda and The Riddler have signed..

Everything has been formally agreed with the PBs legal representative aka why Brenda and The Riddler have signed..

The Legal Representative does not have the authority to sign on behalf of The PBs so the paperwork is now with them (Bishop International) for signatures..

Job done!..

3 new players sorted and a potential permanant training base at Marjons already in the pipeline..

Onwards and Upwards with The Riddler

COYG..
Pay him up and thank him JB.. Mr Reid will always be an Argyle Legend.

Sent out to the media as well as a brief press release at 10pm.

No, it isn't all over. Terms of sale have been agreed, that's all. The completion of the sale can't happen until all the required money has changed hands. Does Bishop International really have access to the funds they need to complete the deal they have agreed tonight? I hope so, but let's wait and see...

It's okay Ottawa, I'll do it for you

Bless you.

So following along with this fantastic bit of news......... NOT

Does this part of the statement
as close to the start of the new season as possible
mean that no money will come to the football club (ridsdale's bit) so none of the players training will get paid, back room, front loom living room nobody will get paid. No season's tickets can be sold, nothing can be bought until all the i's are dotted and the t's crossed.

Seems bit of a shamble i say, it's not proper. :(

What a complete and utter farce!

You could not make this up - confusion and mis-information reigns in endless abundance, and the participants are out of a pantomime. Ah, but is that the plan - to confuse us, the enemy in so far as their development plans go?

Sorry, this is not for me - my/our club is being shafted big time, and right before our eyes. Looks like only the League, or the Cardiff Courts can save us now.
