Just 1 query - am I right in thinking that we only ever paid the council a "peppercorn" rent when they owned HP ? Must be 25 years free rent now then !

So, from here, there is now absolutely no financial penalty for the PB if they walk away from things. My gut instinct about this is that BG knows that his professional reputation depends on him being able to walk away from Argyle with this particular deal having been done. He simply cannot afford for it to fail. So, he has ignored deadlines, agreed to keep things secret, agreed to minimal advance payments and now zero deposit so there is no penalty for the PB if they pull out because he has to help the PB in every possible way that he can.

They have a cheek emotionally blackmailing people into buying season rickets. For the life of me I dont see the cause for any delay. Surely if the contracts are signed and they have the moeny the deal should be completed byefore the weekend? 4-6 weeks sounds unecessaryly long to me.
