Sue this is pathetic. Why should we have to convince the owners that the income from these matches should go to the staff. They should be taking the lead on this - they are carp, and only interested in themselves! Speaks volumes! THEY HAVE NO MONEY SO SHOULD BE DISMISSED BY BRENDA NOW!

Its Brenda that should be dismissed, he's either been totally incompetent, grossly negligent or bent as a nine bob note.

Can't the FSA have him dismissed, with-hold his fees and replace him with Government appointed Administrator.

You lot may be worrying about the start of the season, but its the next 125 years you should be planning for and Brenda and his gang are going to leave you a basket case for years to come.

If it isn't all of the above I'll go for C.

There is a world of difference between handing over 100k or £1mill....and has a direct impact on turnover and what can be spent on players wages

And what if Heaney sits in the Directors box at every home match? That would signal that he is very much involved in Argyle. If the fixtures work out he could attend both Truro's and Argyle's home games each week.

What if Heaney travels away, who pays for his travel and hotel* costs, will he travel with Ridsdale or on the team coach? It would make a laughing stock of the Football League if they do relax their rules on dual ownership.

*Will the team have any over night stays this season or is it up and back in a day to keep Ridsdale's costs down?

It's definitely not an idea they would have come forward with themselves that's for sure ... but at least Chris, Mark, Damon and Ian had a vision on being able to further assist the staff for the coming weeks and had the balls to request this takes place for the sake of the staff.

As we all know (and feel) it's an absolute disgrace the way in which the staff have been treated ... but we don't have a lot of control over what's going on (or not as is the case) ... so if these matches can help the staff out, I'll certainly hand my money over on these matches to aid their plight.

A lot of things going on in all quaters aren't right victor and I certainly do not side with this lot at all ... but the staff are a different matter.

PAFC/((PB+PR+BG)*BS) = FUBAR

Thanks for the report on the meeting. The only positive for me is that there is still some passion being expressed in the meetings with these people but what exactly are us fans now supporting? The club seems like an empty shell just bearing the name with a motley bunch of chancers out to feed off the carcass. Can't say anything said makes me want to renew my ST & even POTD will depend on our new benefactors stumping up the dosh to pay the staff & bills they should already have been responsible for.

One of the most worrying things is that it sounds like we desperately need to sell 5,500 season tickets to just make the losses that are forecast for the season.

If you look a previous attendance figures at this level the majority were under 5,000 including season ticket holders. I would think that we sold around 3,000 season tickets at most in our previous seasons in the bottom division.

I would be very surprised if we even reached 3,000 under the present circumstances on the field let alone off it.

If all the money from the PBs has been used up before the end of the season what then? We will still be making a loss with no way of funding it.

Crowds do not turn up in numbers unless the club is doing well and impassioned pleas to turn up if you want the club to progress have been tried before and failed.

Hopefully they will set a realistic budget which we have to live within and an average attendance of 5,000 has got to be the most we can hope or budget for.

So it is going to be 4 - 6 weeks to complete the Sale and Purchase Agreement. There would appear to be two apparent reasons for this. Firstly, Bishop International Ltd, do not have the financial means to conclude the agreement at the moment and secondly time is needed to ensure David Hinchcliff can present the best possible case that the Sale and Purchase Agreement arrangements are fully in accordance with the League's Rules and Regulations.

Clearly, the latter cannot be achieved until the funding is secured to underpin and present a viable business plan which may, it is understood, include a payment or the underwriting of first year losses of between £1m and £2m.

The Hinchcliff inspired slick conversion of an exclusivity agreement into a Sale and Purchase Agreement effectively locking out other alternatives for at least a month gives Heaney and Ridsdale time to secure the funding from somewhere. Until that is secured (if it ever is) there is no prospect of getting any hint of Football Laegue approval and an orderly exit from administration.

In the meantime we all have to muddle on for the next 4-6 weeks. There will, no doubt be income from player sales such as Mason and Nelson. There will also be some additional income from gate receipts of the pre-season friendly matches which hopefully will go direct to the staff at least. In the absence of a completed sale this should get us through to the start of the season.

In my view the next 4-6 weeks should be used productively to consider and prepare a proper and viable Plan B if the sale is not completed. James Brent has always indicated his willingness to commit to what would then amount to a rescue rather than a bid. I also believe that "in extremis" the City Council will not wish to preside over the demise of PAFC and what would amount to the biggest ever Football League failure. They would have a vital and responsible role to play. A reduced offer to Lombard (and a call on the previous Director's guarantees) will provide more money to cover the Football Creditor Debt.

Finally, the supporters, preferably through the Trust and safe in the knowledge that the club would be in benevolent ownership and possibly a publicly accountable landlord should be prepared to commit more formally to the club. This could be done by a share issue and ownership and perhaps more importantly an immediate commitment to the purchase of a season ticket based on an assurance that the staff at least would be fully paid as a result.

If the preparatory work for a Plan B is not commenced now to 'hit the ground running' then by mid-August it might be too late.

I fear that it could be difficult to get a Plan B workable when we are continually being told that the current bid is the only viable option.

I wonder what would have happened "in extremis" had a holidaymaker chosen a different destination last Autumn. We would have been forced into administration far earlier by HMRC and had less debts and saleable assets making it possible that Another PB/The Council/The Trust could have rescued the club. I don't think the biggest football league failure would have been allowed to happen in the middle of a season.

tin hat firmly glued on.

I will without any doubt be buying a season ticket the second they are on sale. This is the club i support, and at the end of the day, at least there is still a club. People need to remember that. Couldn't imagine sitting at home on a saturday waiting for our result to come on the telly. I will be there, with my full support.

Sparksy hasn't introduced Chris yet but has said as part of the mornings news that Gordon Taylor PFA isn't going to just let the Kari thing go.

(As an aside now talking to a top Plymouth policeman about EDL march in the city on Saturday) Police are confident they can deal with it.

Joe mason having a medical at Cardiff City today :o

Chris on the phone..........heated meeting yesterday, Ridsdale displayed a passion for the club, Sparsky said is it passion or angst do you think, Chris said maybe a bit of both.

Any revenue coming into the club will go to pay the staff is a commitment from BG. Player sales?

Discussing 3 new players having to sign deferment.

Chris spoke to Reidy last night and he said he is not going anywhere.

Chris has pleaded for openess from Heaney,"lets just get on with it".

Sparksy questioning if Heaney has the money, he has heard he may not have anyone behind him.

Damn, got to go to work.........................
The 2011-2012 season was the end for me.
