Well, there is a fan-owned and run football club with a turnover of approaching £400 million. They are 'more than a club' (TM). So anything's possible.

The only news that comes out of them seems to be stuff that I have already read on PASOTI.

You must have missed the regular supply of quotes from the key people in the saga and other stuff which Edd Moore has been delivering on an almost daily basis to readers of the Herald and the Western Morning News, then. There has been a great deal on Argyle's plight in both papers over the past six months or more that has not been available elsewhere first.

It's only £4 million and "No ordinary football club".

Barcelona is an altogether different model which owes much to the influence of Catalan nationalism.

Good to see Mariner's feminine side coming out at last with a nudge and a wink toward "doing the right thing". The idea of survival by bellying up has its merits despite the very thought sticking in most craws, where I have to diverge is in the belief that there would be sufficient juice in the support to pressurise the Riddler once you were pottering along in League 2, this is in my opinion the one chance you will get to put a proper community lead initiative in place.

We at ECFC have massaged our turnover up to nearly 4 million from a million and a half 5 years ago without our Trust ever having really grasped the nettle of fund raising, the 23 million pound development of "Sid James", a collaboration between the club, ECC, the Uni and a private development company, would never have happened were we not Trust owned, ok it hasn't happened yet but these are serious people who would not be wasting their time and money if they were not serious.

£10 million a year for a club the size of PAFC with its intrinsic regional importance is probably an undersell, now would be the moment for Mariner to get behind Plan B and turn it into Plan A.

I've been stunned into silence. I'm either going to take a trip (no pun intended!) to your magic mushroom patch and join Marin(er) in his happy place, or just wait for him to execute his Plan C that will generate £10m per year and revolutionize football. Either way, I can rest easy now. It's all gonna be alright :)

Marin(er) posts do seem to follow the route of a man on mushrooms, starting normal and making some sense, later making less sense but with doses of normality to them, finishing with total jibberish which only makes sense to a man with a drug riddled mind.

That's not true Rupert. Just about every story Edd Moore ran with, you would have found the previous day on Pasoti.
And you're hardly going to get "key people" quoting on a fans forum.
Though in all fairness, you were the first journo' that realised all was not sweetness and light behind the scenes at Home Park.
The Herald's been pretty weak and not exactly overcritical of the goings on.
They normally resort to the old trick of quoting someone else's opinion, whilst they sit on the fence.

No drug inducement in my posts, I am very serious. Sound to good to be true? Well it really isn't, I'm very serious and if someone wants to take me serious then let's do it!
If not I'm off to Truro, they might like the idea
I already have stage one in place which has some, but no obvious relevance...

Sounds like a riddle - how come you seem to have become so calm all of a sudden?

Do what?
Is it some sort of pyramid scheme?
If you want people to take you seriously ... spit it out ... or don't even mention it.
You clearly have something going on in your head, but if it's of any value, it's no good just dropping hints.
Actually, on reflection, if it is that good, that original and guaranteed to succeed ... franchise it to the riddler.

I am ignoring Marin(er) he is an attention seeker.

Nothing will make me respond to anything he posts ever again.

Yeah but he's gone all soft and cuddly Shane - he's got a plan, at least it stops the ranting!!
