IJN I hope this is correct, I think Ridsdale is a crucial link who ever takes over, not sure what would happen to Peter Jones if it is Brent.

I cant see PJ working alongside The Riddler as it appears to me PJ has a distinct personal dislike for the man.

I agree with your sentiments ref Peter Ridsdale I also think Dave Jones should be incorporated in a Brent/Contigency top table with maybe Damon Lenszner from the committee being offered a place on a potential new board.
Pay him up and thank him JB.. Mr Reid will always be an Argyle Legend.

Damon Lenszner cannot be a director, thank God.
I can take the despair. Its the hope I cant stand.

I've always said involving Ridsdale as a CEO was acceptable so long as his hands were kept from the coffers. Recently i've been saying it through gritted teeth, growing increasingly uneasy about his presence at all. I guess that's a compromise i'd have to swallow for keeping Argyle united as one 'fan kosher' entity (ground, team, staff and fans).

As an employee he can be dismissed if he doesn't perform. As an owner he can decide his own salary. I guess I can live with the former. From his POV I guess he'd be taking a big dip in projected salary, but like Guilfoyle's decision to open his mind, the prospect of 'some' money must always be preferrable to NO money. Also the iffy 'history' the pair of them now carry (PR&BG) means they could use some quiet reputation rehabilitation...........keeping Argyle alive keeps Guilfoyle 'hanging in there' in football circles, then making Argyle work keeps Ridsdale 'hanging in there' in terms of reputation. I stress these are how they'll think they are viewed, not necessarily how I view them, personally I wouldn't even recommend them to Exeter ;).

Chancellor, I didnt realise that.. Is there a specific reason for that?

I suggested him as he has experience, built up a good relationship with the supporter groups and is not part of the ISC PAFC Trust.

"Disqualification for unfitness to act as company director" is how Companies House describe it.

This would seem to be playing into the FLs hands if they want to enforce their dual interest rules.

How can anyone possibly say that the chairman of one club is not having a financial influence on another one following those statements?
Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana.

The suppliers and the like have accepted the CVA which is a woeful .7p in the £.

The ones that have to be re-negotaited are the Football Creditors, Lombard, The Trust and Mastpoint.

Ah, I see. Didn't realise that. Doesn't take much to confuse me!

A salary as decided by an outsider is not what he wants. remember he is currently being paid for his work possibly more than what Brent has on the table for him.

Tom, people's salaries have, obviously, not be discussed.

I'm sure you are right about him not wanting to be 'tethered' but JB is far from an idiot.

However, as the Heaney deal is not yet dead, all this is purely speculation and waffle really isn't it.

"We have written to Bishop International Limited asking them to come up with additional funds because they have been unable to complete the purchase of the club before the start of the new season this Saturday. Without this requested funding the administrators will have difficult decisions to make about the options they have left.

"We have to be realistic about the deals being put together to find the funds to buy football clubs. Multi millionaires with open cheque books prepared to pay for a loss making business are a dying breed. Administrators of any company have a duty and obligation to get the best possible outcome for creditors -- in this case, that includes staff and players. If Bishop International Limited is unable to complete the deal we will, of course, look at all other viable options, subject to them being able to provide immediate funding."

Guilfoyle praised Plymouth Argyle staff and fans, who have already bought 2,845 season tickets for the 2011/12 football season - money that is held in a separate trust fund and which will be released only on a game by game basis. "Both staff and fans have been magnificent in their support. It's a reflection of fans' passion for the club that 2,000 turned out for a friendly against Truro last week

He better not think of folding the club as there was other options available at the start of the process. We had better not end up with out a club because of his incompentance. :banghead: :banghead:

If the worst case scenario did happen, and the club were to be closed down, then that would be his choice. That is part of his job if needed.

There will have be many delicate negotiations involving Brent/PCC/BG/Creditors if and when the time comes for those talks to be held.

If there are issues that Brent does not wish to entertain during said negotiations, then BG has got to consider this and If he feels that the option is not viable for whatever reasons he deems fit, then there is nothing anybody can do.

I do not wish to see the club fold,i'd be devastated beyond belief.
Criticism may not be agreeable, but it is necessary. It fulfils the same function as pain in the human body. It calls attention to an unhealthy state of things.

Agreed.

People should never forget, it wasn't Heaney, it wasn't Riddler it wasn't Brenda that has bought up to the edge.

The M7 must never get let off the hook.

Just to keep you boys on the straight and narrow I feel I should point out that, successful League One Club, Exeter City have a lifelong fan and respected local business man as their CEO, his salary package must of course remain a closely guarded secret but if it is more than half this figure I will have I love PAFC tattooed on my forehead in green ink.
