Just to keep you boys on the straight and narrow I feel I should point out that, successful League One Club, Exeter City have a lifelong fan and respected local business man as their CEO, his salary package must of course remain a closely guarded secret but if it is more than half this figure I will have I love PAFC tattooed on my forehead in green ink.

I'd be careful what you say m'Lord, Mr Newell will be along in a moment to start a new fund for your CEO's salary to be pumped up a bit, to say £50,000.01. Would be worth it I say, I'll stick in a tenner.

Sweet of you.

As a small word of warning on top of all the others, apparently Ridsdale was heavily involved in the signing of Seth Johnson at Leeds, SJ's agent was intent upon getting his man at least 15k a week, before he got chance to start negotiating PR had started at 25k and gazumped himself to 35k before anyone could stop him, how he ever got a reputation as a "football man" defies logic.

You don't need Ridsdale and I can't for the life of me see why you would want him.

Hell I would chuck £100 at both ours and Exeters trusts if he did that.

Why use a press release to ask for more money  .when he can ring Heaney up on speed dial and beg directly. It seems like it's the end of the road for Heaney.

People should never forget, it wasn't Heaney, it wasn't Riddler it wasn't Brenda that has bought up to the edge.

The Magnificent seven must never get let off the hook.

I don't get the hassle with creditors, if there is a need for the contingency plan.

Unsecured creditors will still get their .77p in the £ that was agreed in the CVA.

Mastpoint are "covered" by the ridiculous deal that BG made with them, getting all future TV monies.

Lombard and Trust - it has been said that the mortgage outstanding to Lombard is £1.9million and the Trust £300k. Surely the HP footprint is worth more than £2.2million, even in today's depressed market.

However, if it isn't, then surely it will be up to Lombard to go chasing those that put their monikers on personal guarantees - yes? It's what happens in the real world, I know, I've had it happen to me!

That really only leaves the staff and players to sort out.

Maybe with Ridsdale not getting the £250k a year that he has planned for himself (apparently), then we wouldn't need to provide anyone with £4.2million to see the club through the first year or so.

Furthermore, I can't for the life of me see how Brent would be held responsible for Guineafowl's pay, over the last 4 months.

However, as the Heaney deal is not yet dead, all this is purely speculation and waffle really isn't it.

Waffle it may be Ian but it's good to know that Plan B, which I had until recently hoped would be a dream come true for me, still involves Ridsdale and so is not one I could support in a million years. As our Exeter friend says, why in God's name do we need him? I can see nothing in him, whether he holds the purse strings or not, to suggest he'd be any more effective than any other CEO.
I feel I am going insane, and going there alone as even X Isle is swaying. Have I entered some Stepford Wives alternative universe, has the Riddler got some bizarre power over people?
Well, it doesn't work on me, I think he's a tosser and absolutely no good will come of him being here.

I have been off line for a couple of days while we moved back to UK and first thing I see on here is this - fantastic - my thoughts are get JB and PJ together and add Michael Dunford into the mix and we'll be fine, the riddler can go and work with heanous on one of his building sites
