Just one point regarding the Pavillions - it is a cavernous COW SHED in acoustic performance and I strongly suggest you ensure some professional assistance is available and carry out as many sound checks as possible. This really could be a problem on Saturday so please beware.

For £2000 for a morning a hope they supply the required equipment in working order!

I do hope that no-one has ASSUMED that the rental fee includes use of a suitable working PA system with technical staff on hand to support its use.

Chris Webb, Lee Jameson and Peter Ryan are at the Pavilions right now sorting out all the logistics for tomorrow including staging, lighting, seating layout, sound system PA, roving mikes etc. For £2k we would expect the Pavilions management to get all these matters right!

Great - no such assumption was made then!

Many top shows have ,in my opinion, been ruined by the sounds produced.

As a regular attendee at the Pavilions for both concerts and corporate presentations, whilst this was true in the past one helluva lot of work has gone into standing wave deadening and echo absorption and at most gigs I attend now the sound is crystal clear. It doesn't help if there is a lazy sound engineer who sets up for a "standard" hall and leaves those settings for all the tour but most now do a proper sound check and allow for some of the more unique characteristics of the Pavilions.

The staff there are very professional and know their stuff, it should be ok.

Let's hope all is well with the sound then, I may even see Joules Holland next time around.

Good Luck to all on Saturday AM and PM

Pepilgrim - do go and see Jools Holland on 9 December. As a regular there every December, it is a brilliant evening, and make sure you have an aisle seat, so that you can get up and boogie!! My wife says it is a waste of money buying a seat, as I never sit in it!! Not bad for a 66 year old eh?

We may have our opinions of the Administrator and PR, and the other people involved, but I hope to hear what they have to say, to us the supporters, tomorrow. I don't want to come away from the Pavilion's thinking that was a wasted opportunity.

So lets give them the courtesy of allowing them speak, let them answer our questions and then we can make our own minds up.

Have made huge banners to place up inside the pavilions ... ZeeZan is going to help me put them up tomorrow.

Will also be helping Chris out by using the bucket collection for raising money for the hiring of the hall and once up at Home Park again, this will then be a collection for the staff.

Petition papers will be with me as well, for anyone who has not signed already

Spot on. I will try and set the right tone. I have faith in our supporters.

Blimey nearly 3am. Have spent evening catching up with news stories, meeting minutes and PASOTI forums. Sorted my profile. Luckily have been on twitter a lot, so saw about meeting on #pafc (haven't been checking emails for months). And Pavilions - so maybe better than Guildhall, no noise from weddings upstairs or people talking outside. And crunch time! Have wanted a certain outcome since December. Hoping things can keep going, and looking forward to this meeting, my first since March. Jeez. Now need sleep.
