Today's the day (Heaney/Ridsdale given 26th Aug deadline)

Well, this is it, this is the day that guilfoyle originally said the he gave Ridsdale as the deadline for satisfying the football league.

Will we hear a statement from the FL? Heaney? Ridsdale? Will we hear anything at all?

Anyone have any thoughts of their own about today and what could happen?

Todays the day BG says he's confident that the deal will be pushed through by the end of the month and that BIL have assured him funding IS in place and Ridsdale will have no problem getting the golden share.

I understand that Heaney has been on Radio Devon stating that completion will be next week.

Anyone else heard this?

Something along the lines of excellent progress being made, deal close to completion, therefore deadline extended til next week :wtf:

Heaney said he expected completion "Tuesday or Wednesday next week" in the Herald interview the other day.

It is understood that the Football League will not be making a statement today about Argyle. It is also understood that negotiations regarding the transfer of the Football League share to PAFC 125 Ltd are continuing.

The deadline we should be focusing on is Friday 26th August That will mark the end of the contractual obligation in the Sale and Purchase Agreement. Today's 'deadline' was always more of an aspiration to 'get over the line.

As I said on another thread, scrap the deadline as it means [Bad Language Removed by Site Admin] all anyway. I doubt anything will happen today either - we might hear something from the club but it will probably be the same old crap.
