Totally agree.

Can we look at instant bans on here for people who resort to childish name-calling of those whose opinions differ from theirs?

Guy is totally right so ban all of us who question these merchants - all they want is a quaint little arse licking forum!!

I concur. His posts maybe long winded on occasion, but I find I agree with the vast majority of them.

I strongly feel that the divorce of club from Home Park and it's immediate re-marriage to a private property developer landlord is the signal of the beginning of the end. If anyone were to ever give me any credit they'd admit i've been 100% consistent with that from the moment the bidding proposals became known. It's the path down which there can be no retreat.

It's not a self imposed ban on watching the greens though, just contributing financially to being f**ked over. Away games (and free home tickets I guess?) are just as kosher as going to watch other teams, a means to an end to satisfy the football fans urge to watch football without funding the enemy - 'fairtrade' football if you will.

How long it goes on for is the unknown quantity. If it stayed in the hands of Ridsdale/Heaney then i'd keep the embers of our values going and maybe invest in the inevitable eventual AFC (style) Argyle that would follow when a larger minority came round to realising I was right all along. If it came back into the hands of a group or individual they'd have to be pretty darn squeeky clean and honourable for me to trust them with the embers i'd been sustaining for 'X' years. A fans co-operative would work for me, otherwise it'd be on it's merits at the time.

I've never made a stance that wasn't right though and i'm convinced on this one............while still clinging to the hope of a contingency plan victory from the jaws of defeat.

ok fair enough, but is your moral stance a new thing?i take it you were up at HP in the past, stappes desperate dan,and the rest?supporting that way of doing things?and if your hopeing for a moral night in shinning armour to come along in aa couple of years i think your gona have a long wait, this is football today(thanks sky tv),any way off to the match, green army

I was at Home Park under 'Stapes' yes. His true colours didn't come out until the NWO. And as anyone will tell you I was all over their case from the off, that mutated eventually to my post Watford apaplectic ranting and the advocation of a boycott for the pointless last day debacle against Peterborough in the CCC.

Mc666 got the backside treatement post Warnock with his declaration that he would run the club into the ground, he too way boycotted financially.

So yes, all morally sound and above board thank you.

They don't have to be a 'moral knight in shining armour', they just need to run a football club with the express aim of being the best football club we can be, as high up the league and as forward looking as can be sustained within the means of our finances whilst ensuring the staff and fans are treated with respect. You DON'T have to be mother Teresa to behave with unity, trust, intengrity, honesty and transparency, there is a middle ground.

ok so you havnt been since peterborough?,i would imagine out of the whole argo fan base your the only one who took that stance wich sort of kills your moral based argument ,surely you can see that?(as far as other fans joining with you ),and your looking for someone to come in and take the club on with what you describe as a middle ground moral out look,so not totally moral but middle of the road, thats good to see your willing to to move a bit on that,(totally moral v middle ground moral,) finally i see willingness to debate?so what does it take to get you guys back through the turnstyles? ( wich is the key to our sucsess, allways has been allways will be)my take on it is as follows,16 000, down to 5/6000,i would say that at least 9500 of those have 4th divison syndrome and would bet my cider on the fact that they would all be back for a championship fixture, lets say argo v west ham, thats a proven fact (sourse greens on screen)its certainly not time to throw the towle in ,being a green is for life, rolling with the punches and all that, withdrawing your support and encouraging other fans to do so aswell is the single most damaging thing you can do to a football club our football club, and your realy not helping there are you,not just you, theres a few people trying tha line on this site,so whos attempting to kill our club? is it the people stumping up 6 mil or the 4th divison syndrome gang,?and to finish, well done to the 5700 yesterday the life blood of plymouth argyle football club a cridit to your selfs well done,no morals no toys out the pram just doing what we do,,

I've come to love your little ditties Mike, mixed with the apples you sound a bundle of fun - however, it is not about the football on the park for me now, after 43 odd years of being blinkered by 'whoever' runs it I've decided to start reading between the lines and don't like what I see!!

It's still not technically over and done yet but agree it probably will - at that point I will salute you and say bye bye!!
