By playing a song loud enough to drown the chants out and about being parnoid and whining

Who does the music argyle should be fired what a scumbag

In fairness it didn't take much to drown out any chants.

The chants were certainly loud enough but the whole thing was marred by the volume of the music. Doesn't the DJ ever take his earphones off?

Green Day - get it now?

I know the song is called Basket Case its a song about Anxiety

Do you have the time to listen to me whine about nothing and everything at once
i am one of those
Melodramtic Fools

It was a dig at the trust and i am sure Ridsdale and Cowdrey had a part to play in it

Certainly seems that way. And fits in with Cowdrey's argument with Chris Webb on the official Argye twitter account. Cowdrey picks the music doesn't he? Time he did one as far as I'm concerned.

Time he did one 5 or more years ago.

I often wonder what the Rick Cowdery of 1998/1999 would think of his present-day self, should he meet him in some bizarre time travel type experiment? Whatever happened to that fiery, anti-establishment reporter who used to so amusingly and dryly report on Argyle for the WMN, railing against the McCauley regime?

EDITED

On reflection, especially reading some comments about the twitter spat this afternoon between RC and the Trust, that was probably unfair of me to criticise Rick as I did above. As some have said, he hasn't received a full wage packet in months so deserves a fair amount of slack. I guess the main thing to say is, let's stick together and keep our eyes on the main aim - there's no time for squabbles between all of us who have the same desire - the survival of Plymouth Argyle.
