If heaney does pull out he's got away very lighty. Allowing 300k instead of the full million for exculsivity seems to be another big blunder by the prat Brendan

It is up to Ridsdale and his co conspiritor Heany to sort out payments to creditors, players, staff ect. This they have monumentaly failed to do , this is what the football league have said no to.
Do the decent thing and just go you pair of scumbags.

Where is Dunford working/living at the moment?

I don't know how relevant it may be to the current situation, but he was in Plymouth today, and was travelling North by rail this afternoon...

Is that some kind of cryptic Red Indian talk?

The Doctor wrote: I suppose a question that should be asked in all of this is WHY hasn't the football creditor debt not been sorted out yet? There's been plenty of time, P&A must be a well resourced firm, Peter Ridsdale is fully up on what is required and Kevin Heaney can't simply have forgotten to cover this part of the deal. Surely, somewhere along the line one or other of them ought to have dealt with this by now. The fact that they haven't is quite bizarre and, I suspect, quite telling although I am not sure what it is telling us.

This is a question that should be answered by Ridsdale. He was an integral part of this deal with his company due to take over the club after BIL had bought it. Having told us that this was the only way the club could be saved on several occasions I'd like to know why we haven't heard anything from him in the last few days except that he will stay on if he is wanted by the eventual owners.

Maybe he'll take his cue from Stapleton and say he 'wasn't closely involved' with that side of the takeover.

I remember Guilfool saying in early August at the Pavilions all that had to be finalised was that Heaney had to sort out the money, and Ridsdale provide some clarifications to the FL for the share transfer - and that he was confident it would be completed "by the end of next week -or possibly the week after" (!).

Yeah, it sounded a bit suss even then.

The administrator's job isn't to arrange the money or compliance with the share conditions - but they SHOULD HAVE selected purchasers who could! and when it became obvious they hadn't, they shouldn't have bumbled on elastic deadlines for another 2 months!

It already is. See today's Herald & WMN story by Edd Moore.

I just hope I have time to write a Viewpoint tomorrow, and that our lawyers aren't too fussy...

;)

Good news, and good luck with the lawyers!

Not much space in tomorrow's paper, and not much time for me to write (as opposed to edit other stuff) or for lawyers to peruse, either. There is a Viewpoint in this Saturday's WMN, but the stuff I want to say about the conduct of the administration process will have to wait a week or more. I want to cover the controversial stuff, but I want to do it properly.

Heaney is good at walking away - it's what he leaves behind that can cause a problem. By the way PAFC Stadium Limited is registered at 31 Lemon Street, Truro, as are many of his other companies including quite a new one called Plymouth Retail Park Limited. One wonders why he thought of this name. Good luck.
