A calculated gamble that the Football League might cave into him rather than risk a club being liquidated maybe?

And I still feel that by not granting the share, then they have technically refused it.

Disingenuous, or not, we'll never know if Heaney has the money without the share being granted.

I take your point about the league but the easy part is Heaney proving he has the money whether its to the League PandA Brendan Guilfoyle Peter Ridsdale or even if he wanted to prove a point the Trust commitee...in fact (despite not liking the cut of his gib very much) I could understand him being peed off if he has the money....has proved he's got the money....has proved he will have no influence over Argyle...has proved he is a fit and proper person....and yet no-one will take his £6 million quid off his hands

We all know how quick he is to pay his solicitors. Nearly as fast as he has coughed up the money for the club. Hopefully he walks faster

I have passed your enquiry to our head of obfuscation and delay Mr Guilfoyle.

He assures me it will be dealt with next week and he definitely has a letter that says he knows where to find it from a solicitor.

If your require firther proof of funds we are expecting another £6 million quid any dy now from a very reliable chap Mr.....

Oh!

Bye then
I am always interested in pre 1960 plymouth Homes and away...wants list available on request. Also reserves friendlies and youth team programmes to date.

It'll be interesting to see if he keeps his word regarding deadlines as well as Guilfoyle does. Somehow i doubt it.

Expect a statement from Lil Kev sometime tomorrow saying,
"a huge stumbling block that was in the way of concluding the deal has now been removed, so we should have the purchase completed on Monday".

Until someone else has officially bought the club i'm not holding my breath.

It doesn't. It is understood he Lombard personal guarantees are in favour of the three original Board members - Stapleton, Wrathall and Dennerly. The proposed virtual full payment of the secured creditor debt owed to Lombard by Heaney would have meant those personal guarantees would probably not have been called upon. Hence, the suspicion of the Heaney - Stapleton link.
