Not the appointment I hoped for, but I am a million percent behind Carl Fletcher.

The guy has been nothing short of fantastic over this period, picking up two player of the year awards in two seasons. I have no doubt he will give 100% for the cause, and am glad a man with a huge love for the club, its fans and the area has been appointed.

I wish him all the very best.

As they don't have any management experience do either Ro or Fletch have any coaching badges? Just seems that we are trying to do more with even less.

They decision to sack Reid (or at least it's timing) seems to be pretty much a financial decision because whatever you think about Reid's performance, we are replaceing an experienced manager with two guys without any experience, or (probably) qualifications to do a job that is going to be tough to say the least. I hope I'm wrong but it's very hard to see them being able to turn this round to the extent that is required to maintain our league status.
Now, I don't know about you, but I don't think the primary purpose of your life, my life and the entirety of the human race's is just to blindly consume to support a failing economy and a faulty system, forever and ever until we run out of every resource

Dead against PR's sacking but I think this is the logical appointment in the circumstances. Good luck Carl - I hope your loyalty will be regarded more kindly than Peter Reid's was!!

Captain my captain.

To be frank it could be David Cameron, they have my full backing no matter what.

Guess it's no surprise that this would appear to be the cheap option. What bloody option did we have once Reid had been given the bullet, Carl GOOD LUCK!
Do what I do, hold on tight and pretend it's a plan.

Are people already getting on his back? Pathetic.

Usual suspects, so I wouldn't be too bothered. :)
