I'd be amazed if they walked away from this deal because they were sent a few nasty emails, firstly it'll get far, far worse if they do but also they want this deal to suceed. They stand to make money but also seriously enhance their reputation, we all think they're crap and theit treatment of the staff is abhorrent but to complete a deal and save a club is a position like ours almost entirely unfunded will look very impressive, it will win them other jobs, walking away when there's an offer on the table would do the exact opposite. They want to complete the sale and get paid as much as they can, this threat is simply an atttempt to scare us off and strengthen their position. The club is still clearly in a very precarious position but if we are to be liquidated it won't be because of this protest.

To be fair to ridsdale, he is not involved in this and has accepted a meeting request for tomorrow, I wonder if Brenda would be so kind? Probably wondering to himself, what glass of sparkling he is having this evening.

It's time to be strong, not a Jannerwimp.

These people have been running roughshod over us for 8-9 months now, some of us have advocated a softly approach to get us over the line.

Flip it now, these idiots have gone one step to far!!

'Us Yorkshire folk like bluntness' - Yeah right, flip off from our club! How's that for 'blunt'.

Deactivated

Right then, time to hold fast and grit our teeth. However, lets not call anyone scum, or any other names, lets remain dignified and not give P&A any ammo to fire at us.
I must be phsycic.

I don't think Guilfoyle's been at Argyle since August mate.

I loath the word 'scum' I really do, but when I think about those 'people' using our unpaid staff as a 'human shield, how dare they.

Pure scum!

Brenda needs to appreciate that wherever we end up we intend to find out exactly what was going on for the 3-4 months with ginger nut. I'm not sure he is running scared but he is probably ''walking scared''.

I am probably being very naive here, but if panda walk away can't new administrators be appointed, who would then work directly with jb . They would be funded, panda would become a creditor and fall under the same threat as others I.e. accept the cva or get nothing. Ok naive question finished...knowledgeable people please deconstruct.
Oh to be a ......

In theory I guess it's legally possible but it wouldn't happen in practise.

P&A wouldn't walk away to become a mere creditor who holds no cards and I doubt any other company would take it on for the sake of a week's work before the deal got done.
