Page 3 of today's Herald. I'm sure a link will follow in an hour or so. I've already posted my thought's about Tony's case on another thread. Peter Reid has declined to comment so I cannot give my take on it. I get a feeling though that he is also being offered less than he's due. I've been up all night so I'm off to sleep on it. I'm sure there'll be some mixed comments about it all when I get up.

He's a good man. He'll do us right. As i'm sure Tony will.

One thing these two men have in common is that Ridsdale has tried to bully them, which looks foolish and counterproductive of him.

I'm not; there have been enough hints over the last day or two that PR was one of them.

I do have sympathy for all 255 staff affected and would much prefer that they received all their money up front (as I suspect would JB) but sadly that isn't going to happen so I feel deeply uncomfortable with making two people an exception to the terms everyone else has reluctantly agreed too.

That said, it doesn't seem to me to be a coincidence that both of them were sacked making their cases slightly different.

Having come this far, I'm sure we'll get over the line and I hope that the three key people involved can agree a fair outcome as soon as possible.

As for P&A, wasn't it them that referred to £750,000 only a week or so ago? How can they expect people not to question £1.2m now?

Well he could've bullied everyone else too and they just gave in. The reality is if it doesn't go through everyone goes without.

Tbh with TC's case it is difficult because of the TUPE, not something James Brent will be unfamiliar with. He will know what he can and can't get away with.

I am sure JB will deal with these issues over the coming days and get successful resolution. The one thing we as fans need to bear in mind is that just because we don't agree with a persons stance it doesn't give us free reign to abuse and harras them.

Ridsdale publicly riled Reid by pompously announcing that this is a results business. If he had treated him with a modicum of decency it might well have been a lot easier. All he had to do was thank him for everything he had done.

Exactly. Looks with the benefit of hindsight like a massive tactical error. Not that he's ever made those before...

Perhaps they were referring to their Partnership fees only and not the additional £450,000 or so allegedly claimed by Walker Morris for their legal services (i.e. David Hinchcliffe and his team).

The P and A situation is deeply disappointing.

All those months spent racking up the fees trying to complete with a preferred bidder whom anyone in Cornwall would have been deeply sceptical about.

Furthermore their fees are not their (and Walker Morris) costs. They are their costs - and costs include hefty salaries - marked up by a serious multiple. They have plenty of wiggle room to get their costs back. No-one at P&A will be without a turkey this Christmas.

What is particularly galling is that both the Reid and Campbell issues are ones that can be traced directly back to the admin regime's handling of those guys.

I do hope that everyone will see sense this morning.
