Given the talk of possibly completion last Friday, I thought everything would be tied up today. The constant slippage is extremely frustrating. Now it's Wednesday!!

It's not "derisory" in the sense that it's the same scheme offered to everyone. Full pay over 5 years.

I'd guess the question mark is over severance pay, compensation or the rumoured period he went unpaid prior to the rest of the squad having to do so. It'll be a case of arguing the toss over what qualifies "full pay".

24th:
Simon King has returned to Gillingham after his loan spell ended early. The centre-back is carrying an injury which will not heal before his second month on-loan expires so it was agreed to send him back to Gillingham.

16.30. The BBC reports that Peter Reid still hasn’t signed a financial agreement with James Brent.
20.00. Update. Peter Reid has now agreed to sign.

Must have missed this! Is there a link???
